2025 Field of Honor® Beneficiary Application

The Rotary Club of Georgetown Foundation is accepting applications from August 1, 2025, through Friday, August 22, 2025, to be considered as a Beneficiary from the funds raised through flag sales at the 2025 Field of Honor® (hereinafter FOH). Please review the Beneficiary Page of the website to see prior years’ beneficiary organizations and the amounts given each year.

To qualify to apply, organizations must:

  • Be a 501(c)3, 501(c)19, or  501(c)23 organization in good standing, and must upload the verification letter and a current Form 990 upon submitting the application.
  • Serve the needs of active or reserve duty and veteran military personnel, and/or first responders and/or their families.
  • Clearly define how the funds will be used if selected as a FOH Beneficiary, as well as define the metrics used to determine success of expected outcomes. Funds must be used for programs benefitting veterans and first responders and cannot be utilized for salaries.
  • Become an active FOH Affiliate. Affiliates are approved non-profit organizations that promote flag sales and, in return, receive a portion of the proceeds based on the number of flags sold through their unique QR code provided by the FOH. If selected as a Beneficiary, two members of your organization will be invited to attend the Field of Honor® Celebration Luncheon in February 2026, during which your organization will be recognized, and a check presentation will be made. Photos will be submitted with a press release immediately thereafter.

If selected as a 2025 FOH Beneficiary, your organization will be scheduled to speak at a Georgetown Rotary meeting within the fiscal year to present how the funds were or are being used to support your mission and stated purpose for the funds. Further details will be provided if your organization is selected.

TIMELINE: The deadline to apply is midnight, August 22, 2025. Organizations will be notified by September 5, 2025, if they have been selected to proceed to the next round of the application process. An interview and possible site visit will then be scheduled for finalists. Final selectees will be notified by September 19, 2025.
